NEW JERSEY -- Gov. Phil Murphy reported on Wednesday the latest breakdown of school learning models in the state of New Jersey.
According to the governor, 99 school districts are doing in-person instruction, 529 are offering hybrid in-person/remote instruction, 145 are doing remote instruction (including Scotch Plains-Fanwood), and 38 are using a combination of plans across buildings
"We remain confident in the protocols in place to protect the health and safety of our schools & educational communities," Murphy said.
This week, Scotch Plains-Fanwood schools were set to go to the hybrid model on Monday for the elementary, middle school, and high school levels. That plan was changed on Sunday morning when superintendent Dr. Joan Mast sent a letter to parents announcing that the district would revert to all-remote learning.
