SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- Scotch Plains-Fanwood SPFK12 superintendent Dr. Joan Mast sent a letter to parents on Wednesday to inform them that the district would apply three unused snow days to shorten the (at-home) school year.

Public school students will now have a four-day Memorial Day Weekend (Friday, May 22, through Monday, May 25). Additionally, the snow days will be applied on Monday, June 22, and Tuesday, June 23, thereby making the last official day of school Friday, June 19.

Graduation Day will remain as Tuesday, June 23. Plans for the graduation have still not been finalized because social distancing regulations issued by Gov. Murphy have changed in the past few days.
