EDISON, NJ -- On Saturday, January 25, several students from The Wardlaw+Hartridge School in Edison auditioned for the Central Jersey Music Educators Association Region II Bands. Vanessa Fang of Edison was accepted on trombone, Sophia Fontaine of Somerville on euphonium and Luke Tan of Edison as first chair percussionist receiving the highest percussion audition score of the day.
The CJMEA Region II bands are ensembles consisting of band students from five Central New Jersey Counties accepted by audition only. Congratulations to the students who were accepted as well as the students who put in the hard work to prepare for this extremely competitive audition.
