EDISON, NJ -- Third grade students at The Wardlaw+Hartridge School in Edison recently hosted a reading and invited parents to presentations “About Me” with lap books they created.
The focus was on text features, which include title, subtitle, photographs, captions, bold and italic words, table of contents, and glossary. The third graders proudly showcased their expertise and knowledge and parents were very impressed. The students also included a timeline of their life, a map of their bedroom, and character traits of themselves.
The Wardlaw+Hartridge School is Central Jersey’s premier PreK-12 independent school.
