EDISON, NJ -- Wardlaw+Hartridge held a series of after school sports clinics in late February to increase athletic skill among the younger students in the school. Varsity coaches and athletes assisted in sessions covering soccer, tennis, baseball, softball, volleyball and basketball.
These clinics created positive interactions between varsity coaches and Lower and Middle School students, as well as athletes from all three divisions, giving the younger students more connection to their "big brothers and sisters" playing in varsity games. Middle School coaches also worked with the young athletes. The participation rate at this year’s clinics was high, with many dividing attendees into as many as four rotating stations to work on skills.
