FANWOOD, NJ -- The Fanwood Grille reopens Friday after closing for two days for internal repairs.
"We had a few operational issues that needed addressing and are looking to resume our regular schedule with a lot less rain and a lot more sunshine," said Chef Paul Watterson. "We are looking forward to what we call 'lobster roll weather'."
Fanwood Grille lobster rolls are made with Maine lobster that is caught, cooked, shelled and flash frozen. Waterson tried several vendors before finding one with a product that reminded him of his childhood trips to Maine.
"I keep the recipe simple and not overpower the lobster flavor with too many spices. You should be able to 'taste the sea' when you eat a Fanwood Grille lobster roll," Watterson said.
