SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- The Scotch Plains Public Library will host a virtual program presented by local business Black Drop Coffee, on Thursday, April 8, at 7 p.m.

Black Drop founder Melody DeGaetano is a Registered Dietitian who brings science and nutrition to the work of creating delicious drink experiences. Together with Michael Bonavita from their local roaster Good Life Coffee, she will share interesting coffee facts and present interactive brewing how-tos. They will teach about the distinct flavor profiles and tasting notes of their Sumatra and Single Origin beans, in addition to reviewing a variety of home brewing methods. If you would like to follow along and brew your own coffee during the program, or the next morning, you can register to pick up two complimentary samples of BDC’s Signature beans!  Visit the Library’s website for more information and to register,  or call 908-322-5007, x204.
