Donation Brings Yearly Total Raised by Auxiliary to $130,000 for 2019; New Officers Inducted at Holiday Party
SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ – The Auxiliary of the Center for Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. a non-profit organization based in Scotch Plains, held its holiday party on Dec. 9, at Ferraro’s in Westfield, where outgoing president Edith Smith presented a check for $80,000 to the Center.
The donation brings the Auxiliary’s total 2019 contributions to $130,000. The funds raised by the Auxiliary, through its charity events and the Hope Chest Thrift Store it runs in Westfield, benefit the Center’s charitable care fund.
The evening also included induction of the Auxiliary's new officers: president, Jo Favor; vice president, MaryAnn Drozd; treasurer, Delores Hynes; corresponding secretary, Ginny Comer; and recording secretary, Delores Paruta.
