FANWOOD, NJ -- The Chelsea at Fanwood marked the 18th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks by providing lunch to our first responders and other local heroes, a hero sandwich with sides of chips and water packaged in carry out bags decorated by preschoolers at the Goddard School.

Among the public servants in attendance were Fanwood Police Officer Elliott Bernard, Sgt. Ron Greco, Lt. Gene Chin, Retired NY police officer and Chelsea resident Tom Rowan, Fanwood Lt. Frank Marrero, Fanwood Emergency Management Coordinator Howard Drewes, and retired Barnegat Light Rescue Squad volunteer EMT Dorothy Ericsson, also a Chelsea resident.
