FANWOOD/SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- The Borough of Fanwood and Township of Scotch Plains designated the FSP Rotary club to create a centralized committee, SPF Resource Central, for people needing information about available resources during the Coronavirus pandemic. The goal is to assist the towns during this difficult crisis and become a key point of contact for the community.
Businesses, non-profits, and individuals who have services to offer in either town, are asked to visit the FSP Rotary website at fsprotary.org/coronavirus and fill out the Services Registration form.
Examples of services include, but are not limited to the following: food pantries, services for the elderly, mental health assistance, shopping assistance, restaurants, etc.
Individuals and families who need assistance during this pandemic are asked to visit the Rotary website and fill out the Assistance Request Form with as much information as possible. All information will remain confidential. A member of the FSP Rotary Club will reach out to review the request and will then use the information provided to identify the appropriate resources.
For people who do not have access to a computer or smartphone, they can simply call (908) 312-0687 to request assistance. For additional information about the SPF Resource Central Committee, contact Deanna Dell Bene at (908) 463-6538.
