SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- Resolve Community Counseling Center’s 4th annual Swim-A-Palooza fundraiser has, once again, proven to be fun as well as a financial success.
Once again Highland Swim Club in Scotch Plains hosted this event to benefit Resolve as a community outreach to not only raise money but to bring awareness of Resolve’s mental health services.
Resolve is a private, non-profit community health center serving children, adults and families of Union County regardless of their ability to pay for mental health services and, more specifically, to help those who need to pay on a sliding scale based on their income.
This year’s Swim-A-Palooza has raised approximately $1,200 with more donations expected. Anyone interested in pledging to this cause, can go to https://go.rallyup.com/Resolve Swim2019. Pledges are being accepted to the end of July, 2019.
“This is so much fun with the added advantage of raising funds for Resolve,” said Barbara Roskin, event chairperson. “Bringing awareness of Resolve’s professional, discreet and convenient services to those who need mental health assistance weather it be grief counseling, anxiety, drug and/or alcohol dependency, is so very important. We thank Highland Swim Club and all swimmers for participating.”
