WESTFIELD, NJ -- Over 100 kids and adults participated in the 20th annual Walk/Run for Mom at Nomahegan Park in Cranford to benefit Holy Trinity Interparochial School's Bridge the Gap Fund, which helps families with financial difficulties meet tuition obligations.
Tim Dursee began Walk for Mom in 1999 in honor of his mother, Charlotte Dursee, who lost her battle to breast cancer.
"I'd like to thank everyone for all the support, year 20 was a great celebration of mom’s life," said organizer Tim Dursee. "I'm so happy to be able support a great school like HolyTrinity and the Bridge the Gap program. We are already looking forward to next year."
