FANWOOD, NJ -- The Borough of Fanwood will host a special online Town Hall Meeting to discuss the recently mailed estimated property tax bills. The virtual forum will be presented by Mayor Colleen Mahr, CFO Fred Tomkins, and tax collector Colleen Huehn.

Topics will include:
  • What the estimated bill means,
  • How revised property assessments impact your estimated bill, and
  • How property owners can file tax appeals.
Residents can participate via ZOOM, by conference call-in number, or a Facebook lives stream. Questions can be submitted by emailing gotomeeting@fanwoodnj.org.

Property owners who are dissatisfied with their recent home assessment can file a tax appeal if they act before the July 1 deadline.
