"Last year this event raised approximately $3,000 for RESOLVE," said Barbara Roskin, a longtime member of RESOLVE's Board of Directors. "We, of course, are hoping this year we raise more. The sky's the limit."

RESOLVE is a non-profit mental health agency wherein fundraising becomes essential to sustain counseling to all who seek our services.  The organization provides mental health support to all clients regardless of their ability to pay or who need to pay on a sliding scale based on their income.

"For so long the need for mental health assistance was a secret that some people looked at as a weakness," Mrs. Roskin said. "Yet if you have a physical ailment you go to a medical doctor. Mental health is a disease as well that can be successfully treated. RESOLVE offers treatment to anyone who needs it."

"Having Highland Swim Club partner with RESOLVE for this annual event is so very important and appreciated and brings public awareness to this much needed service," she added.

RESOLVE is a private, non-profit community mental health center serving children, adults and families of Union County for over 40 years. Fundraising is essential to sustain RESOLVE’S counseling to all clients regardless of their ability to pay for mental health services.
