Mike Hur, owner of Café Teasia in Cranford, NJ, shows us how he makes their snow ice, an updated take on a beloved Korean dessert.

Hur uses milk instead of water to make the creamy, fluffy base of the dessert, layers it with syrup, then tops it with a variety of treats, such as chocolate, cheesecake, ice cream and fruit. It’s served with individual cups, so that diners an scoop in all the goodies and smash them together. One is big enough for two or three people to share.

CafeTeasia is located at 1 South Ave. East in Downtown Cranford.
