FANWOOD, NJ -- A car slammed into a building on Terrill Road in Fanwood on Saturday evening, but fortunately no serious injuries occurred to the driver or the occupants of the building. 

According to Fanwood fire chief John Piccola, the Fanwood Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident shortly before 6:00 p.m. Firefighters and Fanwood police arrived and discovered a car that had run off the road and struck a building.

Damage to the building appeared to be minimal, however, the Fanwood building department was notified to verify the integrity of the structure, according to Chief Piccola.
