SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School alumni have planned a George Floyd-Black Lives Matter peaceful protest march for Saturday, June 6, at 10:30 a.m.

It is being billed as a "rally to protest the injustices endured by African Americans across this country and the need for change."

The march is set to begin in the rear parking lot of the high school and conclude at the historic Shady Rest Clubhouse at Scotch Hills Country Club, America's first black-owned golf course, where the rally will take place.
