WESTFIELD, NJ -- Holy Trinity School had the honor of hosting Cardinal Joseph Tobin of the Archdiocese of Newark at the annual school Christmas Mass. The Mass was a well-attended event by students, parents, grandparents and parishioners.

The mass included music by the Holy Trinity School choir, led by Liturgy Coordinator Mary Ann Harmer. Cardinal Tobin engaged the children with a heartfelt homily. He told the children they all have amazing strength and power, which makes it possible for them to accomplish whatever they set their minds to. After the Mass, Cardinal Tobin was invited back to the school for a reception and a tour of the facilities.

Cardinal Tobin thrilled the students by walking around the school and greeting them all, taking the time to stop into every classroom and even singing a Christmas carol with the Kindergarten class. Students, administrators and parents alike enjoyed hosting Cardinal Tobin and look forward to another visit in the future.
