SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- The Religious School of Congregation Beth Israel hosted its community-wide Hanukkah party on Wednesday, Dec. 18. The festivities included games, arts and crafts, music, traditional potato latkes and other kid-friendly foods.
The Bible Players performed an interactive retelling of the Hanukkah story before Rabbi Howard Tilman lit candles on the menorah and Cantor Matt Axelrod led the children in song. (Story continues after video.)
