SUMMIT, NJ -- Matt Tracey scored 20 points and the Union Catholic boys basketball team opened a big first half lead on the way to a 61-51 victory over Oratory on Wednesday night.
Tracey and Elijah Barlow each scored six points in the first quarter when UC took a 16-10 lead. Tracey scored five more points in the second half to help the Vikings increase its lead to 34-17 at the half.
Terrell Henderson, who finished with four assists and two steals, scored seven of his career high 11 points in the second half to help the Vikings stay in control of the game. Bradley Young added eight points for UC, including five in the second half.
The Vikings will be back in action on Tuesday at North Brunswick at 4:00 p.m.
