SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- A spirited Summit team dominated possession time for much of the game and scored a late goal to earn a hard-fought road victory over host Scotch Plains-Fanwood, 2-1, on Saturday.

After giving up a first half goal, which gave Summit a 1-0 lead at half-time, the senior goalie made some spectacular saves in the second period to keep his team in the game. The Raiders evened the game, 1-1, when Alex Levy, on a cross from Chris Vinci, put the ball past a diving Jake Maslin with about 14-minutes left in the game.

Summit scored the game winner a few minutes later, as senior Owen Healy scored on a rebound of teammate's Nathan Todorov's shot on the Raiders' goal at sun-drenched Wexler Field.
