Boys Track and Field: Union Catholic's Krishna White Shatters School Record in Triple Jump at Nationals

NEW YORK, NY -- Senior Krishna White soared into the Union Catholic record book when he placed 10th in the triple jump in the Emerging Elite competition with a leap of 45-1 in triple jump at New Balance National Championships on Friday at the New Balance Track and Field Center at the 168th Street Armory

White's 45-1 broke the school indoor record of 44-9 1/2 that he shared with Obinna Nwafor. White, who lives in Plainfield, made te 44-9 1/2 when he placed fourth at the Eastern Championships last month, and Nwafor hit 44-9 1/2 in 2008.
