SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- Scotch Plains-Fanwood boys volleyball continued its perfect season with a two-set drubbing of Elizabeth, 25-11, 25-9, on Wednesday. With the win, the Raiders improved to 19-0 on the season. 

Scotch Plains-Fanwood had many outstanding contributors:

  • Tim Ennis had a monster game with 9 kills, 1 block, 4 digs, and 8 service points.
  • Nate Sta Rosa had 8 kills, Nick Schmidt had 29 assists, 15 service points and 1 ace.
  • Amir Johnson was big up front with 4 kills and 9 blocks.
  • Aidan Heifetz had 4 kills.
  • Jeremy Zimmerman had 3 kills.
  • Zach Chung had 19 digs.

The Raiders will next play on Friday, May 21, against Roselle Catholic in the Union County Tournament.  The NJSIAA state tournament begins May 27. Scotch Plains-Fanwood will have a first-round bye.
