RAHWAY, NJ -- The Union Catholic girls soccer team continued its torrid play with a 3-0 victory over Rahway for its fourth straight victory on Monday at Rahway River Park.

The Vikings, now 7-4 on the season, took a 1-0 halftime lead when Madison McCoy scored off a feed fro Sofia Alves. Caroline Morgan made is 2-0 in the second half off an assist from McCoy, and Alves put an exclamation point on the victory when she scored on a fake corner kick.

Goalies Ashia Ellison (four saves) and Meghan Gelcius (two saves) combined on the shutout for the Vikings.
