SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- The Scotch Plains-Fanwood girls swim team proved too talented and deep for their opponents from visiting Elizabeth as the Raiders won a convincing 113-55 victory at the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA (FSPY) on Wednesday, Jan. 8.

After Scotch Plains-Fanwood led off with a victory in the 200 Medley Relay, and Jess Rojek followed by winning the 200 Free. Emma Route won the 200 IM, and senior Julianna Blanco took the 50 Free.

The Raiders were looking for a sweep until Elizabeth's Paula Tamayo won the 100 Back. She also was the anchor for the winning 400 Free Relay.
