SUMMIT, NJ -- The Union Catholic volleyball team continued its hot start to the season with a straight sets victory over Oak Knoll on Friday.

The Vikings, ranked No. 4 in the state, received strong contributions from several players on the way to 25-8, 25-9 victory as UC raised its record to 4-0. 

Abbey Ortiz had nine assists and eight service points for UC. Adrienne Caceda had eight service points, including four aces, and also came up with six assists. A'Liyah Thomas registered nine service points. Grace Kane had six service points and five kills, and Alexandra Kwasnik finished with eight kills.  

The Vikings will return to action on Monday at home vs. Union.
