SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- The Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School girls tennis team this year boasted one of the best years in program history by posting a 15-6 record, advancing to the Sectional semifinal match vs. Chatham, and won the Mountain Conference Championship for the first time. 

For their success under Coach Luke Piede and assistant coach Barbara Joyner, the members of the team will share the honor of being named the Joint Motion Physical Therapy Athletes of the Week. The team was led by Anna Szczuka, who had an impressive 25-3 record as a sophomore.
