SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- The Scotch Plains-Fanwood PAL 8th grade cheerleaders competed in the annual Powderpuff Bowl flag football game on Sunday, Nov. 3, at Ponderosa Park in Scotch Plains.

The girls played a great game of flag football that ended in a 3-3 tie while the football players gave their best effort to cheer them on.

"Thanks to Coaches Ken Hernandez and Rob Harmer, Colleen Gialanella and the cheer coaches, Tina Price and Christine Hausle, for making it happen," said PAL football 8th grade coach Evan Murray.
