SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ. -- The Union Catholic girls tennis team celebrated Senior Day with a 4-1 victory over Roselle Park on Monday at Kramer Manor Park.
   
Before the match, Union Catholic honored its senior players, Maddy Abood, Sadie Abood, Cara Leegan, Gabriella Pollard, Madison Truesdale, and Amelia Casale. 

The Vikings, who improved to 7-8 on the season, swept the singles matches and also won at first doubles. 

In singles play, Saddie and Maddy Abood, and Annie Hartnett all won in straight sets for Union Catholic, Elisabeth Pickel and Truesdale teamed up for Union Catholic to win at first doubles.
