SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School junior Brandon Bowles will be the school's only competitor in Atlantic City as the NJSIAA State Tournament takes place March 5-7 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.
Bowles, who competes at 126 lbs., was the third place finisher at last Saturday's Region 4 Wrestling Tournament, which earned the wrestler his second trip to AC for the state competition. Also competing will be Westfield senior Luke Hoerle, who placed second in the Region, and Sean Rendeiro of St. Peter’s Prep, who won the Region 4 crown and the title at the District Tournament held at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School.
