BLOOMFIELD, NJ - Bloomfield parents protested outside of the Board of Education ahead of Tuesday night's meeting. The parents are protesting the decision to place armed guards in the district's schools.

Ahead of the regularly scheduled meeting, a group of about 25 parents were out in front of the main entrance of Bloomfield High School with signs expressing their disapproval of the placing of armed guards in district schools. 

The protest took place while the BOE was in private Executive Session. The public meeting was set to begin at 7:30 p.m.
