FLORHAM PARK, NJ - After receiving a call from a concerned citizen, Florham Park Police responded to 25 Hanover Road on February 4 and discovered a 4-year-old child wandering in the parking lot unattended.

Officer Thomas Belli was able to determine that the child had been left in the vehicle while his grandmother was at a dentist appointment in an adjacent building.

Officer Jared Orgel responded to the dentist’s office and located the child’s grandmother (Dawn M. Todd, age 56 from Irvington, NJ) and determined that she had left the boy in the vehicle because he was asleep and she did not want to wake him. She had taken her two other grandchildren, ages 7 and 9, into the dentist office with her.
