MAPLEWOOD, NJ - Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived at Dickens Village in Ricalton Square on Saturday afternoon and proceeded to their "little house" to greet children and learn of their Christmas wishes.
There was a full day of festivities at Dickens Village, with the Jefferson School Chorus, made up of 4th and 5th grade students, entertaining the crowd with winter songs.
Later in the afternoon, Maplewood Mayor Victor De Luca, assisted by Township Committee member India Larrier read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.
De Luca then invited all to join him in the lighting of the Christmas tree in Ricalton Square.

Breakfast with Santa is on Satrurday, Dec. 10 at St. James's Gate and Village Trattoria, with limited seating. Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis. Purchase tickets for the St. James’s Gate Santa breakfast at Village Wine Shop and purchase tickets for Village Trattoria Santa Breakfast at No. 165.
On Tuesday, Dec. 27, there is a Menorah Lighting in Ricalton Square at 6:15 p.m.
