"The NJACFoundation is a non-profit organization committed to providing innovative educational opportunities for county vocational schools and county college students,” said Freeholder President Brendan W. Gill. “Both Investors Bank and PSEG have been instrumental in this scholarship.  We certainly appreciate their support for our youth as well.”

Investors Bank and PSEG awarded three NJAC Foundation grants, which recipients use to continue education at a county college, or a state college or university.

This year’s awardees are:

  • Wendy Yupa of Newark, and graduate from Donald M. Payne, Sr. School of Technology.  Yupa will study computer engineering at Kean University.
  • Aaron Stultz of East Orange, and graduate from Essex County Schools of Technology. Stulz will study mechanical engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology,
  • Kamari Snow of Irvington, and graduate from Essex County Schools of Technology. Snow will study computer engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Yupa was a member of the National Honor Society, participated in clubs and played on the soccer team. In her senior year, she mentored ninth graders and joined the Girls Who Code club.

Snow wants to follow his passion for technological development and Stultz endeavors to solve problems, making the world a better place through mechanical engineering.

NJAC Executive Director John G. Donnadio congratulated the students for earning the award and thanked the Freeholder Board, Investors Bank, and PSEG for continued support.
