MAPLEWOOD, NJ — An email was sent to the Columbia High School community this morning giving all clear after “the emergency management system was inadvertently enacted.”
The alarm was checked and reset in less than half an hour, as Assistant Principal Terry Woolard sent the following message at 7:15 a.m.
At approximately 6:50 am on October 23, 2020 the emergency management system was inadvertently enacted. Administration as well as law enforcement and the Director of Buildings and Grounds promptly arrived at the high school assessed the situation and determined there was no threat or danger, and reset the alarm. Thank you for your patience in this matter.
