SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - The South Orange Police Blotter reports that on Saturday, April 2, a food delivery employee was the victim of an armed robbery. 

According to the police blotter, the victim "stated that on Saturday at approximately 10:45 p.m. he was making a delivery to a Tichenor Ave. residence when after he had made same an unknown actor walked up to him and demanded his cash while brandishing a long barreled black handgun."

The victim described the actor as being a "black male in his thirties wearing a red hooded sweatshirt," and stated that he took approximately $45 in cash from the delivery worker and then fled the area on foot.

The South Orange Detective Bureau is investigating the incident.

This is the second crime involving a delivery employee in South Orange in recent weeks. On March 25, a worker making a delivery on South Orange Ave. at approximately 8:20 p.m., stated that an unknown actor stole his vehicle (2010 Toyota) after he exited it while leaving it running.
