SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - On Saturday afternoon, June 10, volunteers and supporters of Rent Party and members of the South Orange Elks Club got together for a Garden Party, which had plenty of food and drink, face painting, garden tours, and of course, live music.

The Elks have a front yard garden, The South Orange Elks Rent Party Garden, where a wide variety of vegetables are grown and harvested, then donated to those in need through Rent Party.

Chris Dickson, co-founder of Rent Party, shared that the garden party was all about giving out free hot dogs and saying thank you to the many volunteers.

Sheena Collum, South Orange Village President, and Deborah Davis Ford, South Orange Village Trustee, both joined the party and added their thanks to Rent Party and to the Elks for their work in the community.

"It's wonderful that Chris and the Elks Lodge together with all the volunteers work so hard to be sure there’s food for the kids and families who need help," said Collum.
