MAPLEWOOD, NJ -- Columbia grabbed a 10-point lead by halftime and rolled on to a 50-35 girls basketball victory over Glen Ridge on Thursday.

Shana Desir scored 18 points to lead the Cougars (7-4), who led, 23-13, at the half. Columbia outscored the Ridgers in all four quarters.

Corteney Provilon-Louis and Maia Little each netted eight points for Columbia, which buttressed its offense with seven 3-point baskets.
