SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - Dominique Rayam scored 21 points and Jordan Fields added 20 points to lead Columbia to a 64-44 girls' basketball victory over Bloomfield Tech Thursday in the opening round of the Essex County Tournament.

Fields and Jasmine Keegen each passed for five assists and Keegan also blocked six shots for Columbia (5-9), which opened the game on a 20-4 run.

Rayam led the Cougars with five rebounds and also came up with three steals. Raven Cordner scored eight points in the victory.
