MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Undefeated Columbia broke out to a 20-point lead after one quarter and went on to a 76-30 girls basketball victory over Newark Tech on Wednesday.

Zahra Alexander scored 13 points for the Cougars (9-0), who led, 33-13, after one quarter.

Corteney Provilon-Louis connected for 12 points, Kaijhe Hall and Talia Baptiste each finished with 11 points and Bella Galatt had 10 points in the victory.
