The Junior League of the Oranges and Short Hills, (“JLOSH”), with support from local sponsors, will host Grub & Gratitude, a fantastic evening of great food, dancing, beer & wine, a Silent Auction and a 50/50 Raffle. The Grub & Gratitude event will take place on Friday, November 17, 2017, at The Woodland in Maplewood, NJ.
Join JLOSH members & guests and enjoy craft beer from The Hoboken Brewing Company and sip on our signature cocktail. Dance to the tunes spun by our DJ and select from four different cuisines at our food stations! Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a community service event by helping to create Thanksgiving food baskets for people in the JLOSH service community.
Event sponsors include Dun & Bradstreet, Summit Medical Group, CWI Design, Saint Barnabas Medical Center. This event is also supported by Community Food Bank of New Jersey.
“Our League’s annual fundraiser this year is all about giving back to our communities. We are delighted to promote volunteerism and showcase our strengths in service by encouraging our sponsors, funders and event attendees to join us in organizing and packing up to 300 complete Thanksgiving meals that will be donated to vulnerable families with children in the Orange School District,” said Rosemary Mattson, President of the Junior League of the Oranges and Short Hills. “We thank our event supporters and look forward to an evening celebrating our partnerships and the impact we collectively make with families living in our catchment area.”
