This free community event inspire kids to keep their minds and bodies active, explained event organizers.

With a forecast for rainy weather, the event location was moved from Memorial Park to the South Mountain YMCA, with activities taking place both indoors and outside. Kids could participate in a Camp Zone with Gaga, Ogobuild, Big Blue Blocks, and more. There was also a Superhero Academy Obstacle Course, giant inflatables, a climbing wall, healthy cooking demonstrations, and plenty of arts and crafts.

Children gathered round to see Spider Man indoors, and outside the Maplewood Fire Department and the Maplewood Police Department had vehicles for kids to sit in, explore and even sound the siren.
