MAPLEWOOD AND SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - Tuesday, June 6, is Primary Election Day in South Orange and Maplewood. The only contested vote is for Governor in both the Democratic and Republican primaries.

The Democratic Primary will be voting for Governor, Member of the State Senate, Members of the General Assembly, Members of the Board of Chosen Freeholders at Large, Member of the Board of Chosen Freeholders, State Committeemen, and State Committeewomen.

The Republican Primary will be voting for Governor, Member of the State Senate, Members of the General Assembly, Members of the Board of Chosen Freeholders at Large, Member of the Board of Chosen Freeholders, State Committeeman, and State Committeewoman.

In Maplewood only, voters will also cast votes for Members of the Township Committee. In the Democratic Primary Victor De Luca and Dean Dafis are running unopposed, and  in the Republican Primary Michael Summersgill is running unopposed as well.
