MAPLEWOOD, NJ - Despite threatening weather, Maplewood held the annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 29, ending with a ceremony at Maplewood Town Hall. The marchers included Maplewood Mayor Vic DeLuca, members of the Township Committee, the Columbia High School marching band, and many others.

On the steps of Town Hall, DeLuca spoke about the significance of the day, and also introduced Brooke Jenkins, age 7, who was “Mayor for a Day."

The ceremony concluded with the placing of wreaths at the Memorial Monument followed by the playing of Taps.
