June 5 - Theft; A Lyft driver reported that after dropping off four males in the area of Tuscan Rd. and Boyden Ave., he discovered money missing from his wallet.

June 6 - Burglary; At approximately 12:15 p.m., a home on Coolidge Rd. had it’s alarm activated. When the homeowner returned home, they discovered damage to a door. It did not appear that anything was missing at the time of the report.

June 6 - Bicycle Theft; An unsecured bicycle was stolen from the yard of a home on Meadowbrook Rd.

June 7 - Shoplifting Arrest; At approximately 4 p.., a male was observed concealing items at Walgreens on Springfield Ave.  When confronted he fled the store, but was located a short distance away by patrols. The male, Donail England, age 42 of Newark, was taken into custody and charged with shoplifting.

June 8 - Theft from Auto; Between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. an unsecured vehicle parked on Coolidge Rd. was entered and multiple items including credit cards were stolen.

June 9 - Bicycle Theft; At approximately 6:30 p.m., a twelve year old lent his bicycle to another juvenile who left with it and did not return. Patrols located the 16 year old male riding the bicycle a short distance away.

All charges are merely accusations. Each suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
