MAPLEWOOD, NJ - The Maplewood Post Office’s move to its new location at 195 Maplewood Ave. has been postponed until next week.

Thomas Fung, marketing manager for the United States Postal Service, notified the township of the delay on Friday. Fung said that a USPS system-wide computer outage has caused the opening of the new facility to be pushed off until Tuesday, Feb. 17.

Until then, the current facility at 160 Maplewood Ave. will be open to serve the public during normal business hours. Monday, however, the post office will be closed for President's Day.
