Maplewood Restaurant Week Returns on March 7

MAPLEWOOD, NJ - A favorite annual event, Maplewood Restaurant Week is back on Monday, March 7, with plenty of delicious options to make it possible to dine out for every meal until the week ends on Sunday, March 13. 

Over 15 local restaurants are participating, some offering a prix fixe dinner with a number of courses, while others have specials for Restaurant Week. As a release about the event explained, "participating restaurants will offer customers everything from prix fixe to tasting menus and discounted lunch or dinner specials."

A few of the Restaurant Week specials:

Abril Cocina (175 Maplewood Ave.): 4 course prix fixe dinner menu ($35) and a 10% discount for lunch, Wednesday through Saturday.

Arturo's Osteria and Pizzeria (180 Maplewood Ave.): $10 gift card on takeout orders of $50 or more.

Holley's Seafood (513 Valley Rd.): Seafood combo ($13) includes shrimp, french fries, and choice of flounder, catfish, or whiting.

Nargiz (1651 Springfield Ave.): 10% off all culinary items including new gyros, lamb, and chicken platters with the mention of Restaurant Week.

Palmer's Sweetery & Cafe (1 Highland Pl.): $5 coffee and pastry combo with the mention Restaurant Week.

Park Wood Diner (1958 Springfield Ave.): 15% off lunch specials and 20% off dinner blackboard specials (not to be combined with other offers).

St. James Gate (167 Maplewood Ave.): 3-course prix fixe meal ($25), Monday - Thursday only. 1/2 portion soup or salad, sandwiches, and desserts. Exclusions apply.

Julie Doran, Maplewood Village Alliance's District Manager, shared "It’s always so nice to be out around Maplewood and see people enjoying the specials offered by the participating restaurants. I know people who plan their entire week around Restaurant Week. People really enjoy visiting old favorites and trying something new."
