MAPLEWOOD, NJ - The Springfield Avenue Holiday Celebration this Sunday, Dec. 7, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Gazebo Grounds will cap a weekend of pre-holiday festivities in the township.

Live music with Maplewood's own Bruno Lee and Friends and the Seth Boyden School Chorus will be featured. There will be cookies and hot chocolate, courtesy of the Park Wood Diner, photos with Santa, a tree-lighting, and multi-cultural holiday stories and crafts hosted by the Hilton Branch Library, 1688 Springfield Ave.   

This event is sponsored by the Township of Maplewood's Department of Recreation, The Springfield Avenue Partnership and The Park Wood Dinner.

On Saturday, Dec. 6, Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive at the Maplewood Fire Department at 1 p.m. Dickens Village Houses will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. And the tree-lighting ceremony in the village will take place from 4 to 5 p.m.
