The South Orange Public Library is in the middle of its third annual Makers Month, our yearly celebration of local creativity and ingenuity. Folks of all ages are encouraged to join us this Saturday, March 18, for Makers Mayhem, a full day of non-stop hands-on activities, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Activities include:

Community Building: Make an Art installation create a collaborative work of art

Robots, robots, and more robots: A special appearance by the Columbia High School Robotics Club

Be sure to mark your calendars next week as well. On Saturday, March 25, at 10 a.m., we’re joining with libraries around the state as we make a tiny dancer with wire, magnets, and a battery on NJ Makers Day.
