MAPLEWOOD, NJ - BCB Bank hosted the monthly Maplewood Chamber of Commerce event on Feb. 28, at its new branch on Maplewood Avenue.

After time for members to network and enjoy food and drink, Chamber President Rick Gilman called the meeting to order and asked all to introduce themselves and tell about what their business does.

Following this, Gilman introduced the evening's speaker, Indira Singh, CEO of MapSo Media. Singh spoke about various methods for digitally reaching clients, and potential future clients. Singh also covered recent changes Facebook has made to its logarithms, which has affected how many Facebook users view posts made from business pages. Singh also discussed issues with "boosted posts" on Facebook, which can be ineffective in reaching people who are the advertiser's target market.
